"The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire" was the big winner last night at the "MTV Movie Awards".  It won Best Movie, and JOSH HUTCHERSON and JENNIFER LAWRENCE won Best Male and Female Performance, respectively.

The show was actually incredibly tame . . . even boring.  Especially when you compare it to the average "VMA" broadcast.  Probably the "raciest" moment occurred when ZAC EFRON accepted the award for Best Shirtless Performance, and RITA ORA ripped his shirt off.

Rita presented the award with JESSICA ALBA, who had kind of a John Travolta moment when she announced Zac as "Zac EE-fron."  (Here's video.)

Host CONAN O'BRIEN opened the show with a skit where he ran around trying to get 50 celebrity cameos.  They included Andy SambergSarah SilvermanAshton Kutcher and even Martin Scorsese

(Check it out here.  And here's Conan's monologue, which included a song about how he didn't want to sing an opening song.)

Here are some of the night's other winners . . .

Best On-Screen Transformation:  Jared Leto,  "Dallas Buyers Club"

Best Comedic Performance:  Jonah Hill,  "The Wolf of Wall Street"

Best Villain:  Mila Kunis,  "Oz, The Great and Powerful"

Best Kiss:  Emma RobertsJennifer Aniston and Will Poulter,  "We're the Millers"

Best Fight:  Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly,  "The Hobbit:  The Desolation of Smaug"

Meanwhile, Channing Tatum received the Trailblazer Award, and Mark Wahlberg was given the Generation Award, which he referred to as, quote, "The 'You're Too [Effing] Old to Come Back' Award."
