There's a rumor floating around that Disney is thinking about re-launching the "Indiana Jones" franchise with ROBERT PATTINSON.
It comes from Britain's "Daily Star" tabloid, which isn't always the most reliable source. Here's their report:
Quote, "Disney is looking at its long-term options for the 'Indiana Jones' franchise, [and] Rob is [at the] top of the initial list, because he has showed his acting stripes away from 'Twilight' . . . but the competition will be stiff."
There's no official denial yet.
There was also talk earlier this year that BRADLEY COOPER could star in a new "Indiana Jones" movie.
And of course, SHIA LABEOUF played HARRISON FORD'S heir in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" . . . but not too many people are fans of Shia these days, so he's pretty much out.
