A man in Idaho named David Rush took 43 HITS TO THE FACE . . . with wet sponges . . . to break a Guinness World Record. He needed to do it within 30 seconds. His friend threw 54 sponges at him, and 43 successfully hit his face.
The previous record was 36. David said that he made safety a priority during the stunt . . . and added, quote, "There's also no evidence that COVID-19 has ever been spread by a thrown wet sponge."
