Here's What Chris Rock Said at His Standup Show Last Night
CHRIS ROCK kicked off his standup tour in Boston last night, and the crowd met him with a standing ovation. After they quieted down, he asked them, quote, "How was your weekend?"
Then he announced that he WASN'T going to talk about the Oscars. Quote, "I don't have a bunch of [stuff] about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend, and I'm still kind of processing what happened.
"So at some point I'll talk about that [stuff]. And it'll be serious, and it'll be funny."
Later on in his set, he said, quote, "Except for some other pretty weird things, life is pretty good right now."
He got another standing O at the end of the show.
