A Drunk Guy Stole a Cop Car Then Responded to a Call
Here's how to DEFINITELY get arrested: A 33-year-old in Colorado named Jeremiah James Taylor stole a COP CAR from a police station Monday night. (It happened in Fairplay, Colorado, about 80 miles southwest of Denver.)
Then around 3:30 A.M., a report about a domestic violence call went out over the radio about a guy who apparently threatened to shoot someone . . . and Jeremiah RESPONDED to the call.
He drove the stolen squad car to the address, and he was the first person on scene.
The people in the house said he was obviously intoxicated and asked them, "Where's the old man that's going to shoot someone?"
When the real cops arrived, he sped off, and they didn't catch him at first. They spotted him two hours later and got into a high-speed chase that hit 110 miles an hour.
He eventually crashed the car and ran off into the woods. When they caught up with him, he pulled a knife. So they tased him, and also fired one shot but didn't hit him.
He's facing a long list of charges for theft, impersonating an officer, resisting arrest, and half-a-dozen other crimes.
