Selena Gomez’s Mother Goes To Hospital, Possibly Because Of Justin Bieber
Selena Gomez’s mother was hospitalized last week, and TMZ claims Justin Bieber is to blame.
The site says police were called to a Los Angeles hotel to do a welfare check on Mandy Teefey, who was reportedly upset after getting into a heated conversation with Selena over Justin. A source says Mandy became upset after hearing that Justin and Selena were going to couples’ therapy, because she then realized how serious they were getting, and after a friend called the cops, she decided to go to the hospital to get checked out.
But it turns out Justin may not really be to blame. Sources tell “People” that while Mandy did indeed get checked out at a hospital last week, it wasn’t because of a fight she had with Selena. “It’s been a stressful time for Mandy and she made the decision herself to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay,” the source says. “This wasn’t just about Justin.” The source does add, however, “It’s true her family doesn’t approve of Justin, but this wasn’t just over a fight about him.”
- Meanwhile, an insider close to Justin says he knows that Selena’s family doesn’t approve yet but he’s not about to give up. "He will keep trying to prove himself to her family,” the insider offers. “He is sad that her mom is not doing well. Selena is very close with her mom, so it’s stressful for her. He wants Selena to be happy.”
