Deleting Facebook Really Will Make You Feel Less Stressed
Are you one of the millions of people who just deleted their Facebook accounts? Or, to put it in terms that Facebook would understand, did you say "dasvidaniya" to them? (That's Russian for "goodbye," Comrade.)
If so, you should start to feel a BIG weight off your shoulders soon.
According to a new study out of Australia, people who deleted Facebook had lower stress levels after five days than people who kept their accounts.
But . . . there is a side effect.
The people who got out of the Facebook gulag had lower levels of "life satisfaction" . . . and the researchers think it's because they lost out on the little dopamine bursts you get when someone likes your posts.
