A Ferrari Driver's Excuse For Doing 137? She Thought She Was Only Doing 100
I'm not sure if this is a great excuse to try to get out of a speeding ticket, but it's probably an honest one.
A woman was pulled over on Interstate 35 in Mason City, Iowa on Monday for doing 137 MILES-PER-HOUR in a Ferrari 488 Spider she'd rented.
And her excuse? She didn't realize she was doing 137 . . . she thought she was only doing 100.
Which, of course, would still be extremely illegal.
She's looking at a fine of $335, which seems kind of low all things considered.
