Ciara Perfectly Responds to Fan's Comment on Taylor Swift Music Video Scene

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" - Season 17

In case you missed it, Taylor Swift dropped her amazing new music video for her brand new single "You Need To Calm Down," and it stars a long list of awesome celebrities, including Ciara. For her part, Ciara officiated a wedding between Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita, and while the scene was celebrated by many, she received a comment about the scene from someone who was not such a fan ... but she had the perfect response.

After posting the wedding scene from Taylor's video to her Instagram, Ciara had captioned it, "Wedding is Lit #Equality #YNTCDmusicvideo." A fan had then commented on the video saying, "Ciara. You shouldn't be doing this. We respect u too much, Being at a gay wedding is one thing and joining them together is even more a greater sin. We love you but this is wrong."

And Ciara's clap back? Sheer perfection. She responded and wrote, "Firstly, Christians don't judge. Secondly, #YouNeedToCalmDown." And that, ladies and gents, is the very essence of what this song is about.

Ciara shared several posts from the "You Need To Calm Down" music video shoot in her orange outfit, and thanked Taylor for including her in the video. She wrote, "Thanks for having me @TaylorSwift. My first time officiating a wedding.. Yas!! #YouNeedToCalmDown."
