Here’s What People are Willing To Do To Achieve Their Fitness Goals

Folks are likely going to see their gyms get busier and busier in the coming days with all thos people trying to keep their New Years resolutions to get fit, but we all now reaching those fitness goals aren’t easy.
A new survey finds:
- 68% of people feel so overwhelmed keeping their fitness goals that they’d rather just avoid starting them altogether.
- 67% of people don’t know which health habits are good ones for them to adopt and maintain in the lives.
And there are a lot of things folks would willing to do to instantly achieve their fitness goals, and they are anything but actually go to the gym. For example, 29% would be willing to give up sex for a year.Other things they’d do include:
- Only eat plain oatmeal for every meal, for one full year (33%)
- Shave my head (30%)
- Spend one month alone, in the woods without electricity (29%)
- Give up all electronic devices for one full month (26%)
- Spend a week in jail (25%)
- Stand in line at the DMV for a full day (24%)
- Lose your voice for one year (21%)
- Don’t take a shower or bathe for two weeks (21%)
So, what is preventing people from exercising and maintaining healthy habits? Well, the top excuses include:
- I don’t have time (35%)
- I don’t see results (28%)
- I feel I’m already too unfit (26%)
- I don’t have the motivation (26%)
- The gym is too far away (25%)
