Coronavirus Insanity: Fake Boobs and Muscles for Zoom, Pajama Sales Soar, and More

He are some NOT-so-serious stories we've seen about the coronavirus outbreak . . .

1. A company is selling fake boobs and fake musclesfor people to wear for dates over Zoom.

2. Clothing sales continued to drop in April . . . except in one category. Pajama sales were up143%. Sales of things like pants, jackets, and bras were all down.

3. A guy tried to fly from Washington D.C. to Germany to see his girlfriend, then disguised himself as a janitorto try to get around international travel screenings. It didn't work . . . mainly because he couldn't speak German . . . and he was busted.

4. A Michelin-starred restaurant in the Washington D.C. area is re-opening . . . but to make the place feel less empty as people are spaced out at different tables, they've dressed up mannequinsto sit in the rest of the seats.

5. The New York Department of Sanitation has launched a new YouTube channel. . . with cooking tips.

That doesn't SOUND like something the Department of Sanitation should be qualified for, but they've brought in pro chefs to teach people how to make the most out of what they have around the house. It's part of an effort to help people from going hungry.

6. Are you afraid that the pandemic is going to keep you from eating a ton of different deep-fried foods at state and county fairs this year?

The Stark County Fair in Ohio is now doing a fair food drive-thruwhere people can drive their cars onto the fairgrounds and get foodsfrom different vendors, including deep-fried Oreos and steak on a stick.

7. The pandemic may change toilets forever. . . since a flush can conceivably shoot tons of droplets of coronavirus-infected poop water into the air.

We could start seeing things like lids on public toilets, no-touch flushing, and more spacing between bathroom stalls going forward.

8. New York City just set a record for 58 straight days since a pedestrian was hitand killed in the city. It's the longest stretch since they started keeping track in 1983.

9. A woman snuck into Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday when it was closed because of the pandemic . . . and she fell into a hot springand got burned. But since the place was empty, she had to drive herself 50 miles in pain to get help.

10. The inmate in Chicago who escaped from jail by wearing a face maskand posing as another prisoner has been captured after more than a week on the outside.
