#TRENDING 12/09/20: You Eat a Credit Card's Worth of Plastic Every Week

You Eat a Credit Card's Worth of Plastic Every Week

The World Wildlife Federation just ran a new study and found we all consume a CREDIT CARD'S worth of plastic every week. Imagine sitting down and eating a credit card with a knife and fork every Sunday. That's our lives.

Here are a few more comparisons . . .

1. In one year, we eat the equivalent of an entire dinner plate's worth of plastic.

2. In 10 years, we eat the equivalent of a life saver floatation ring.

3. And in our lifetime, we eat the equivalent of two dumpsters full of plastic.

So . . . how is this affecting us, and how can we stop it?

Scientists don't know yet how eating so much microplastic affects us or our health . . . but it can't be great.

How do we stop eating so much? A lot of it comes from pollution, from plastic dumped in the water that affects our drinking water and seafood. So, you know, join the fight to stop that dumping.
