Here are five things to look forward to in September . . .

1. In sports: Tennis fans have the U.S. Openthrough September 12th. And the new NFL seasonstarts in about a week. There's also lots of college footballthis month. And if you're a golf fan, the Ryder Cupstarts September 24th.

2. In movies: The new "Cinderella" remake with Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, and James Corden hits Amazon Prime on Friday. And Clint Eastwood's new movie "Cry Macho" arrives on HBO Max September 17th.

3. There's so much new TV, we can't list it all. But here are a few shows coming back: "Billions". . . season two of "The Morning Show". . ."Dancing with the Stars". . ."NCIS". . ."The Voice". . ."The Conners". . ."The Masked Singer". . ."Survivor". . . ABC's "Wonder Years" reboot . . ."Law & Order". . ."The Simpsons". . ."Family Guy". . ."Bob's Burgers". . . and "Grey's Anatomy".

4. Some big awards shows happen this month: The MTV Video Music Awardsare on the 12th. The Emmysare the 19th. And the Tony Awardsare September 26th. 

5. And finally, the holidays: Monday is Labor Day, and the 22nd is the first day of fall. Here are some other holidays to look forward to . . .
