Disney scored a massive hit with Frozen, but in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, one producer says the film originally had a much different concept.
"When we started off, Anna and Elsa were not sisters. They weren't even royal. So, Anna was not a princess. Elsa was a self-proclaimed 'Snow Queen,' but she was a villain and pure evil . . ."
Apparently test audiences weren't a huge fan of this, so producers decided to change Elsa's characterization.
It's hard to say, but I wonder if the movie would have been as successful if they stuck with the original concept?
