Today is the one year anniversary of Prince's passing, and in those 365 days, he sold 7.7 million albums and songs. Not surprisingly, most of that happened in the month right after his death.
He sold 2.23 million albums alone in 2016, which is more than any other artist...even Adele, who came in at 2.21 million.
