Elton John has cancelled nine upcoming shows, and he has a pretty solid excuse.
The music legend contracted a harmful and unusual bacterial infection while in South America. His doctors in the UK say infections of this nature are "rare and potentially deadly."
It sounds like Elton WILL be okay though. He was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, and is continuing to recover at home.
