ABC has officially jumped into the race to bring American Idol back to TV.
Now that Ryan Seacrest has joined Live! as the new co-host, you'd think they would have the leg up...but it's not exactly working out in their favor. They thought they could get the show moved to NY to make it easier for Ryan, but the producers shot that idea down.
The bidding wars aren't even close to being over either, both NBC and Fox are still in negotiations as well.
