If you watched Dave Chappelle's new Netflix specials, you might remember that he addressed skipping out on a benefit in Flint, Michigan last year to attend The Oscars.
He basically said, "I'm sorry everybody. I've never been to The Oscars. You see the movies I make."
But earlier this week, he came back to Flint to make things good. He did a show at the same venue the benefit was held at, and donated all of the proceeds (to the tune of $50,000) to a foundation that helps kids who've been affected by the city's water crisis.
