Coffees Ranked by Caffeine Content

You may not realize this, but McDonalds coffee is fairly weak. I'm surprised by this because I love strong coffee and I've always loved McDonalds coffee. I assumed since I liked it, it had to be strong. But flavor and caffeine content are two different things I suppose. So if McDonald's is weak, who's making the strong stuff? Here are eight coffees ranked by how much caffeine each is packing.

2 . Coffee Bean and Teal Leaf, 20.8 milligrams of caffeine per ounce. Compare that to Pepsi which only had about 3 mg per ounce.

2. Starbucks, 20.6 mg per ounce

3. 7-Eleven, 17.5 mg

4. Peet's Coffee, 16.7. I've had some of this stuff before and I'm shocked it's low. Maybe I made it wrong but it was some of the strongest coffee I've ever tasted.

5. Dunkin' Donuts, 15 mg

6. Chick-fil-A, 13.6

7. Panera Bread, 11.8 mg per ounce

8. McDonalds, though some of the best tasting on the list, it ranks the lowest at 9.1 mg per ounce in caffeine content. That's either a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are.
