Well the debate is over. We now know where the sexiest accents in America are located and I'm as surprised as I am hurt and sad over the whole deal. So a travel website recently asked Americans to rank fifty American accents from sexiest to least sexy and here's how it all worked out in the end.
First of all, I'm not sure how you can distinguish the difference between some of these, for instance, who can distinguish a Cincinnati accent from that of the rest of Ohio? Well, let's not worry about it. All I know is that your average Minndak accents didn't fair very well. OK, so here's the rundown.
The 10 sexiest : Texas...Boston...New York...Maine...Chicago...Mississippi...Hawaii...Philadelphia...St. Louis...and California
The LEST sexy are: Long Island...New Jersey...MINNESOTA (that might as well include North Dakota, and I'm hurt)...Alaska...California Valley...Southern Ohio...Florida...Pittsburgh...Cincinnati...And Pennsylvania Dutch.
So there you go, we now know that our ya sure you betcha's probably aren't doing us any favors. So sad.
