Annual Inline Skating Marathon Coming Back to Town

Get ready to either skate, or cycle because the annual Rollin' on the River inline skating race this year includes bicycles. One thing I found crazy about the whole thing is that the inline skaters will start 15 minutes before the cyclists. You know why? well, it's because the skaters are actually FASTER!! In fact, a professional inline skater can consistently reach speeds of 30-35 mph. Who knew?! For those interested in taking part, I've got the details below. You can also follow their Facebook page for updates and more information.

Rollin' on the River Inline Marathon - Annual Inline-Skating event that races through the streets of Grand Forks, North Dakota and along the beautiful Greenway with views of the Red River. Welcome to all skaters from beginners to professionals. We are the 3rd largest in-line skating event in the US. All proceeds are used to benefit Youth Athletics in the community through support of the Perry Nakonechny Fund with the Grand Forks Park District Foundation.
