I'm sure most peoples' online dating profiles have at least a FEW lies and exaggerations.ย But some are worse than others. A new survey asked people what lies would bother them the most when they finally met the person in real life.
The lies that bother men the most are:ย They were a lot older than they claimed . . . they weighed a lot more than they claimed . . . or they were a lot younger than they claimed.
The lies that bother women the most are:ย They're a lot younger than they claimed . . . they're a lot older than they claimed . . . and they're a lot shorter than they claimed.
So what lies don't bother people that much?
Men are least concerned with someone being a little taller or shorter than they claimed . . . weighing less than they claimed . . . or having a less impressive job than they claimed.
And women are least concerned with someone being taller than they claimed . . . or weighing a little more or a little less than they claimed.ย
