Aubrey O'Day is telling close friends she absolutely had a sexual relationship with Donald Drumpf Jr. for months, but she strongly believes it has nothing to do with Drumpf's divorce.
Sources closely connected to O'Day tell TMZ, she had an affair with Drumpf Jr., but it didn't start until AFTER she filmed "The Celebrity Apprentice." She says she has "proof" of the affair. Our sources say Aubrey was told by Drumpf his marriage had fallen apart and he intended to leave his wife, Vanessa, and Aubrey believed it.
The sources say Vanessa knew about the affair when it was happening in 2012. We're told Vanessa flew into a rage and eventually it got to Donald Drumpf, who told his son, in no uncertain terms, he had to end the relationship and "focus on his marriage to make it work."
DJT Jr. swiftly cut things off with Aubrey.
We're told Aubrey is "devastated" people are calling her a homewrecker. She says, first of all, she was told DJT Jr.'s marriage was over. Secondly, she says her affair did NOT trigger the divorce 6 years later.
For now Aubrey doesn't want to come forward and tell her story because, as one source put it, "she's already lost." We're told she didn't sign an NDA and was never even asked to sign one ... and she says she hasn't gotten a penny from the Drumpf family.
She says no one from Drumpf's family has reached out to her since the news broke.
A huge building fire on the set of Bruce Willis and Ed Norton's movie cost a firefighter his life Thursday night.
The shoot was going down in Harlem when the 5-alarm fire broke out just before 11 PM. Norton is directing and co-starring with Willis in "Motherless Brooklyn" ... and the production crew actually called in the blaze, which started in the basement of the building where they were shooting.
FDNY was out in full force -- 44 fire trucks and 200 firefighters battled the inferno before knocking it down early Friday morning. One firefighter, Michael Davidson, was killed and 5 other people suffered injuries.
The film's producers said, "As soon as we noticed smoke coming up into our set, our crew immediately alerted the fire department and began alerting residents of the building even as we evacuated our cast and crew."
They also sent condolences to the firefighter's family and thanked FDNY, saying, "We watched firsthand with astonishment as they charged into the smoke to make sure all were safely out and then fought to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading."
